Director of Innovation Development

Catherine manages the innovation team at CDDC - the team is responsible for all aspects of developing and promoting innovation in County Durham including NETPark, the North East Technology Park, NETPark Net, the innovation network, and Project C, the outreach and engagement programme.

When not working, Catherine enjoys tennis, art, and dance and has been known to indulge in Lego Star Wars for Playstation.

John Hildreth

Business Development Executive

Joining the team as Business Development Executive in September 2008, John's role focuses on the promotion of one of the UK's fastest growing science parks, the North East Technology Park (NETPark - www.northeasttechnologypark.com) located in Sedgefield, County Durham.

John's other focus is the development of an online community for science, technology and engineering companies - NETPark Net (www.uknetpark.net/join) which is a virtual business support environment to assist innovative companies in developing new products, services and technologies. At present, the community is made up of about 200 companies looking to access specialist skills, support and research to develop their business. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of working for large multinationals such as Sage Software and more recently assisting with the start up of a successful North East design company

Jenny Kwok

NETPark NET Executive

Jenny develops and manages  our NETPark Net membership base of over 285 science, engineering and technology companies. Providing the right business support, getting the right experts into your business, making sure businesses collaborate in bidding for projects, and creating stupendous networking events for our companies.

As an Economics graduate of Durham University, Jenny is absolutely passionate about economic development of the North East through innovation. She brings with her knowledge and experience on the development of high-growth companies, having joined NETPark from NStar Finance, and Finance Tree. She has strong understanding of Equity Finance, Innovation Development, Business Support, Business Development, Understanding Markets, Networking, and Relationship Building. Whether you are a company or a service provider, contact Jenny if you would like to get more involved!
