John Holmes-Carrington is an International Trade Advisor for UK Trade and investment, the lead government organisation responsible for supporting companies in the UK in Exporting and overseas enterprises seeking to locate in the UK.
Based at the Regional International Trade Office in Durham John is responsible for assisting companies in the North East region develop their exports.
John has extensive international knowledge from his time living and working in both Continental Europe and the Far East. He has hands on experience in developing export sales for both UK and International organisations. This background enables him to provide practical assistance to local companies who are looking to either export for the first time or further develop their current exports.
John is a member of the Institute of Export and has recently undertaken the UKTI diploma in International Trade in conjunction with the Open University.
