Xcom
Xcom is a remote monitoring system, specially developed with the needs of the renewable energy sector in mind. The system gives the unique capability to instantly reconfigure a renewable energy installation remotely. Xcom provides truly dynamic reporting and data analysis.
The question: To gain insight into the commercial renewable energy market and develop a technology offer for the Xcom system
Our approach: The NETIntel team developed an understanding of the renewable energy market and provided detailed evidence of demand via desk research and insight interviews with industry representatives. Key communication messages, around unique technical benefits and features were established and product differentiators highlighted. The team has worked closely with IPO2 to help them create a trade offer document that is used to introduce the system to potential R&D and licensing partners.
The result: The aim of the project was to aid IPO2 with the commercialisation of the Xcom technology. Through our work, we introduced the Xcom system to a global technology measurement supplier. We have also identified a number of other potential R&D partners and are actively establishing contact and securing technology demonstration meetings.
