NETIntel Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What can we use the service for?

You can use the service to secure information to support:

    • Your marketing strategy and market understanding
    • Review competitors and their activity
    • Source a supplier or technical expertise
    • Support IP management
    • Search for intellectual propertySearch for a company acquisition

How do you go about answering enquires?

We combine access to a range of subscription data sources, industry experts and research professionals to deliver intelligence.

What is the process?

Simply call 0845 838 8667 and talk to us, or drop us an email (netintel@think-m.co.uk) with your questions. You can also chat to the team live online. If you're using the service for the first time, we'll need to verify your membership. This will only take a few moments over the phone. If you are not a member we will seek service approval from the NETPark team and will get straight back to you.

How long does it take?

We will get back to you by phone within 48 hours, and seek to answer your question within a week. Some complex enquires may take longer ...but we'll let you know.

What does it cost?

Access to the service is free to NETThree and NETFour members.

Are there any additional costs?

NETintel secures data from both free and prepaid sources. Much of the data requested can be sourced for free through our existing subscriptions. However, there might be full reports that you may wish to purchase. Any data that meets your needs that costs under £50 will be purchased at no cost to you. You will be given the opportunity to purchase data over the value of £50 at a clearly stated fixed price, should this best match your intelligence needs. Intelligence enquiries typically involve 4 hours of non-continuous work. Those that take longer are subject to an hourly charge but this is rare and you will be informed if resolving your needs is going to take longer prior to any cost being incurred. Estimates of time will be clear and transparent.

What is the difference between intelligence and research?

Primary research is simply where an enquiry requires us to undertake substantial market or business investigations, and create new information. While the team regularly undertakes calls to help resolve your enquiry, we don't undertake surveys for NET Three or NET Four members within the scope of this service. NETFour members can access 'Phase 1 Research' as part of their membership package. This is the next step up from a typical intelligence enquiry and provides a more detailed assessment of early-stage product commercialisation issues.

Full research and survey services beyond the remit of NETintel are provided by think M. and quotes will be provided upon request.
