The work of the KTN can be broadly divided into three main activities:

  • The Capability Directory - a fully searchable listing of UK electronics companies to promote knowledge transfer and networking.

  • Regional KTN activities - delivered by organisations aligned with the Regional Development Authorities or Devolved Authorities.

  • National Program - a set of national themes and conferences covering emerging technologies, areas of excellence and good business practice relating to the electronics industry.

We are a not for profit company limited by guarantee, acting independently for the benefit of the electronics sector - we're delivering services to give your company a competitive advantage, please join us and participate in the development of the UK's electronics sector!

Whether you're involved at the technology, component, circuit, software, system or product level, we're inviting you to join our network. For small to medium sized companies, the EKTN can act as your surrogate "corporation", providing you with a wealth of knowledge to solve today's problem, or to find out what new techniques or technologies you'll need to employ to keep ahead of the competition.
