NETPark Net Value Innovation:
Could there be new ways to make more money from your existing know-how?

This is where Ideas-Lab comes... Ideas-Lab has a proven track record in helping businesses develop, exploit and protect their know-how, what they call "Value Innovation." And NETPark Net has made this service available free of charge to a limited number of NETPark Net members.

How does it work?
Successful value innovation depends on the way we are able to see a problem, a situation or a company. The Ideas-Lab team has developed a process of multiple centre problem framing, designed to reveal patterns of value in your business.

What will they do?
First they will visit you and your business and look at what you do and how you do it. Then they will analyse and map key factors of your organisation, framing your business to help you reveal untapped commercial value and intellectual property. They will present our findings to you in a 'Cornerstones of Innovation' report.

What will you get?

• New ideas on how to increase the revenue of your business
• A report on the value of your company know how and intellectual property and expert guidance on its protection and development
• If required, further access to a range of professional and academic specialists to help you implement any of the ideas outlined in the report
• Participation in a follow-on workshop in early 2009

What will it cost?
The service is free to SMEs who are members of NETPark Net, including NETPark tenants but places are strictly limited to 15 companies on a first come, first served basis. This service is also available as a paid-for service, if required.

Ideas-Lab and County Durham Development Company will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with your company to guarantee that no confidential information about your business will be revealed without your express consent.
