Description: NORTH EAST EVENT EXPLORES ASIA PACIFIC
North East firms involved in life sciences industries are being offered the chance to explore the many opportunities to do business in Asia Pacific countries at a special event next month (December).
The 'Asia Pacific Clinics - Life Sciences' event offers companies the chance to discuss the opportunities with commercial specialists from nine countries across the Asia Pacific region.

The event will take place at the Centre for Life, Newcastle on Thursday, 4 December, 9am-2pm.

UK Trade & Investment has arranged for its commercial specialists from Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Taiwan and Indiato be on hand to offer one-to-one consultations to enable delegates to discuss their own individual business, the opportunities available and gain practical advice and support on how to maximise the opportunities.

Keith Stockdale, one of UK Trade & Investment's International Trade Advisers, said:
'Each of our experts live and work in their respective countries and can offer specialist advice on the potential for a company's products or services, the best way to access the market and the support that is available.

'The clinics will focus on the life sciences, in particular biotechnology, healthcare, medical devices and support industry/technology and delegates can sign up to speak to as many of our specialists as they wish.

'It's an ideal opportunity to find out about several difference markets at one event and, of course, they can also find out about the wide range of support available through UK Trade & Investment to help them succeed.'

The 'Asia Pacific Clinics - Life Sciences' event is free but the number of places is limited. For more information or to book a place contact the North East International Trade Hotline on 0845 05 05 054 or email enquiries@ukti.rito.co.uk
