The Innovation Village will consist of 5 bespoke R&D "NETPods" for companies needing expansion or investment space with minimum disruption.

 

Developed by Helios City, the Pods will be available in sizes of 725, 465 and 232 sq m. Helios plans to give the new developments every green credential possible.

 

This will include waste water recycling and angling the buildings in the Innovation Village away from the sun to cut down on solar gain and thus reduce the need for air conditioning. Natural ventilation will be built into the design and attention will be paid to landscaping to allow natural development.

 

Construction will commence in 2008 and will finish in Autumn 2009.
