NETComms Calendar
NETComms is a comprehensive communications system for all your business needs. It is the online collaboration space for NETPark Net members and has a number of features which are explained below.
You must have the latest flash player installed on your computer in order to view, click here to download
The Calendar function has some extremely useful features including the ability to add Events and Opportunities from the NETPark Net website. To create a new event, click on New (this is found just below the mini NETPark Net logo), select Event from the drop down list and complete the fields as displayed.
You can add attendees by clicking on the 'Attendees' button and either selecting contacts from your address book or typing in addresses directly. Select the date from the calendar and choose the time in 15 minute increments.
Sending out the Event request will completely synchronise with an Outlook Calendar and the invitee will receive a meeting request rather than a message. Once the invitee accepts the request, an email will be sent back notifying acceptance. You also have the ability to attach a file, set a recurrence of the meeting, prioritise and delete if necessary.
To Add an Event or Opportunity from NETPark Net, you must be logged into the website. Once you are logged in and visit the directories you will see an orange 'Add to Calendar' button, select those you wish to add and you will see that they have been added to the Calendar. NETComms will also send out a reminder when the Event or Opportunity deadline is approaching.
The NETPark Net project is part financed by the European Union’s ERDF Competitiveness programme 2007-13, securing £0.22m of ERDF investment through the Regional Development Agency One NorthEast. The ERDF programme is bringing over £250m into the North East to support innovation, enterprise and business support across the region. This project has received funding from Durham County Council through County Durham Development Company.
